Brandon is a Northern Transplant with a Carolina heart! Brandon's family moved to the Philadelphia suburbs from North Carolina when he was just three years old. Although Brandon was raised in Pennsylvania, his love for North Carolina never left his heart.
Brandon graduated from college in 2010 with a business communications degree and immediately began working for a software development company in Pennsylvania. In the fall of 2011 Brandon left his job as a corporate trainer and became a full-time Youth Pastor at his home church in Collegeville, PA. Brandon went on to complete a M.A. Degree in Biblical Leadership and was ordained to be a Pastor on November 12, 2017.
After 6 awesome years as a Youth Pastor, Brandon and his wife Ilene and son Kayson, moved to Chapel Hill in order to start a brand new church. Brandon and Ilene have a passion of sharing the hope of Jesus with the surrounding community!
Brandon and Ilene love to go outside and play with their two children, Kayson and Emersyn, as well as visit the local coffee shops. Brandon loves UNC basketball and football and Philadelphia Eagles football. Ilene loves to use her skills as a nurse to help others and binge watch Fixer Upper.
Hope for You. Hope for the Community.
Hope for the World.
What We Believe
Everything we do, everything we teach, and everything we believe is based solely upon the Bible. Our passion is to share the hope of Jesus with everyone we come in contact with. Our focus is Chapel Hill and the Research Triangle. Our goal is to spread this message of hope throughout the world.
Our church beliefs about the Bible, God, Jesus, Man, and Salvation can be summed up below:
We believe that the Bible is God's love letter to us. We believe that the Bible is perfect, full and complete, and contains no errors. We believe that the Bible is the only authority in which to operate the church and our lives.
(2 Timothy 3:16, 17; 2 Peter 1:20, 21; Hebrews 1:1-2; Jude 3; Proverbs 30:5-6)
We believe that there is only one true and living God and that God is the ultimate Creator of the world. We believe that God exists eternally in three Persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that God has a love for mankind that is incomprehensible and that God wants every person to have a personal relationship with Him.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19, 20; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 4:24)
We believe that Jesus Christ is God's only begotten Son that was sent to earth to be the perfect sacrifice for the sins of mankind. We believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sin, was physically resurrected, and now offers a restored relationship with God to all who believe in Him. (John 3:16, Acts 2:22-39, Romans 3:21-24)
We believe that man was specially created by God in order to worship and give Him glory. We believe that God created man with a free will but man chose to disobey God which resulted in separation from God. We believe that because of sin, every person is born separated from God and on a path to hell, but because of the hope of Jesus, man doesn't have to remain on that path.
(Isaiah 43:7, 21; Psalm 96:9; Matthew 4:10, Romans 3:23, Romans 3:10)
We believe that because of sin, mankind is separated from a perfect and Holy God. God does not send anyone to hell, God sent His Son Jesus to bring hope and rescue mankind from Hell. We believe that true salvation is the sole trust and belief that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. If a person repents of their sin, places their faith and trust in Christ by confessing with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, then based upon the promises of the Bible, mankind's relationship with God is restored.
(Romans 5:12, Romans 6:23, Romans 4:8, Romans 10:9-10)
